Come join us on Karangahape's First Thursday to learn from Aucklands queen of sustainability, Jess from Reparation Studio! She will teach us the art of visible mending. You can practise on pre-loved clothing that need some TLC, or of course, bring in your own!

Admission to this workshop will make you the proud new owner of the DIY Visible Mending Kit that you can take home and practise with your own garments as they start to age in time, you can artfully bring them back to life with these new skills.

Remember: This is no patch kit. Forget elbow patches, or transparent interface. Instead of trying to hide a flaw, you will learn techniques to embellish over them. Creating a much longer life your garment, and creating a sigh of relief to our over-burdened Mother Earth.

Inside this kit you will get:

- carefully considered re-purposed fabric swatches in one of 4x tonal colourways: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
