The traditional japanese drink known to have so many positive benefits, predominantly because it is high in a catechin called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which is believed to have cancer-fighting effects on the body as well as other health benefits such as helping to prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer, and even encouraging weight loss. This is because of that EGCG, essentially anti-oxidants gallore!
